Facial Reflexology

So, how would you like a relaxing treatment that will make your skin glow and enhances your health and wellbeing? Well, that is what Facial Reflexology can do for you. If you do not like your feet touched, and would like to experience the benefits of Reflexology, then you need to give this luxurious treatment a try.

It was developed by Ziggie Bergman, an award winning Reflexologist in the UK. She is a pioneer in modern Facial Reflexology and her clientele include many supermodels and celebrities.

Like Foot Reflexology, Facial Reflexology is based on Zone Therapy where the face is broken down into zones. When an imbalanced reflex in a particular zone has been resolved, all the reflexes in that zone are positively affected.

The treatment is built on a combination of Native American techniques and Asian body maps, that chart the reflex points on the face.  This gentle yet powerful  treatment works closer to the brain and the central nervous system, bringing immediate relaxation and stress relief. In fact, most clients fall asleep after the first ten minutes! Any reflexes out of balance are stimulated to improve the health and well-being of the person being treated.  Over time, Facial Reflexology can also help to reduce lines and give your skin a lovely healthy glow.

Daily activities such as eating, talking, frowning and facial expressions can cause tension to build up in our facial muscles which is relieved with Facial Reflexology.

Benefits of Facial Reflexology:

Facial Reflexology has some unique benefits for certain conditions such as;

• Sinusitis

• Migraines

• PMT & Hormonal Imbalance

• Bruxism (teeth grinding)

• IBS & digestive issues

• Bells Palsy

• Sinus

• Anxiety

• Insomnia

• Tinnitus

• Menopause

The massaging techniques used during this treatment, bring blood and nutrients to the skin, smoothing out lines and improving skin tone. This in turn makes the client feel good and to look their best.

This luxurious treatment is wonderful on its own or in combination with Foot Reflexology, Reiki or Indian Head Massage.

It is important to wait for 3 weeks after having Botox or Fillers so that the treatment doesn’t affect these procedures.

Facial Cupping

An ancient and all natural approach to promoting youthful looking skin.

Facial Cupping can lift and sculpt the jawline & neck, decrease dark circles & puffiness in the eyes, soften lines & wrinkles on the face and relax your mind & body.

It is the #1 non-surgical facelift and you will “feel’ the difference from the very first treatment. It can also help with scars, headaches, sinus congestion and bells palsy.

An amazing stand-alone treatment or even better, combined with facial reflexology.

Benefits:

  • Reduces fine lines and wrinkles
  • Increases collagen and elastin
  • Reduces puffiness
  • Healthy glowing skin
  • Sculpts facial features

Foot Reflexology

Reflexology is a therapy that uses the feet as a map for the whole body. There are reflexes in the feet which relate to every organ, gland, and body part. By manipulating and applying pressure to certain parts of the feet, it encourages a beneficial effect on the whole body. Reflexology helps to re-tune the body’s systems and bring it back into balance, promoting greater health & wellbeing.

Reflexology is the practice of stimulating parts of the feet to encourage a beneficial effect on other parts of the body. Reflexology can help many health problems in a natural way. It is a renewal and maintenance programme for the body. It not only aids recovery but helps the body to maintain health and restore physical & emotional well-being.

Reiki

Reiki is a type of energy healing. It comes from the Japanese words “Rei” (Universal) and “Ki” (Life-force energy). Energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or emotional pain or trauma. After time, these blockages can cause illness. In my practice, I help to remove these blocks and get the energy flowing around your body once again. Having this treatment can help to reduce pain, stress & anxiety, promote deep relaxation & ease within the body and mind.

You, as the client, remain fully clothed and lie comfortably on the treatment bed. I place my hands gently over areas of the body, from head to toes, including your chakra centres. You may feel different sensations as I work, including heat, cold or pins and needles in certain areas. You may see different colours and patterns or bright lights as I work on different areas. You may also experience an emotional release.

This is the shifting of energy blockages and life-force energy freely flowing throughout your body. Some people, however, do not experience any of these sensations, but they still feel the benefits of having Reiki.

I practice Reiki Usui Shiki Ryoho.

IAIM Infant Massage Classes

There are countless benefits to massaging your baby.

You can help to enhance their development & boost their immunity. Massage can aid in relaxation & improve sleep. It may help to aid digestion & ease gas, colic & constipation. You & your baby can enjoy this special one-to-one time which encourages the bonding process.

Parents may also experience the benefits of massaging their baby:
Infant Massage helps to enhance parents’ ability to understand their baby’s cues & needs. These classes provide a social outlet for parents to meet other parents. You may feel more confident & relaxed, as massaging your baby reduces stress hormones & increases happy hormones.

Classes are baby-led, relaxed & fun!

Classes last approximately one hour for each weekly session and there are at generally 5 sessions in an Infant Massage course. Class materials will be sent out to those doing the online class before the first class. Numbers are kept relatively small to ensure a warm, safe, loving environment for the baby and so as not to over-stimulate them.

Neasa will always teach the massage techniques on her doll and parents are the only ones massaging their own baby. Private sessions are available upon request.

* Classes are suitable for babies aged between birth and pre-crawling.
* Face-to-Face classes location TBC.

Baby Reflexology Classes

You can introduce reflexology to your child at any stage and enjoy the immediate benefits. Reflexology is a safe and effective therapy to use with babies and children, encouraging health and wellbeing, promoting bonding and comforting, soothing digestive complaints such as colic, reflux & constipation and boosting the immune system. It can be used anywhere and at any time of the day or become part of the bedtime routine, promoting relaxation and encouraging a restful sleep.

The beautiful thing about Reflexology is that it grows with your child. In my classes, adaptations are shown for toddlers and older children including teenagers. Bringing reflexology into your family life allows you to have relaxing one to one time with your child – nurturing your relationship with them.

By teaching effective reflexology techniques to use on their babies & children, parents are empowered with a new tool that they can use for their child’s health and well-being for years to come.
